Electric Vehicles

For the last few years, the discussion of electric vehicles has been in full swing in many countries including India, and why not. The pollution level due to vehicles is increasing day by day. The Indian government is also taking several steps for electric cars, but the question is what are the advantages of electric cars and how is it beneficial for us. Following are the benefits of Electric vehicles.

  • Moving with time: If you buy an electric car, then it shows that you care about nature as your initiative can reduce the amount of carbon dioxide present in the atmosphere to some extent. Also, keeping up with technology and changes is important for every developing nation for 360-degree nourishment.
  • Low cost, high mileage: The biggest advantage of electric cars is that after buying them, you do not have to bother with the rising oil prices every day. With an electric car, you can travel at the rate of Rs 1 per kilometer, which is 70 percent less than a petrol car. If you charge your vehicle with solar power-generated electricity then this cost will even reduce further.
  • Low maintenance: Buying electric cars is always a profitable deal. In a way, the maintenance of electric cars is zero as compared to petrol-diesel. You don’t need oil refinement. No filter changes, no exhaust, electric motors are low maintenance.
  • Zero pollution: There is no question of pollution when it comes to electric cars. Even in a metro city like Delhi-Mumbai, breathing is getting worse. In such a situation, the electric car will prove to be a boon. The Delhi government has even decided to switch all Delhi Government vehicles into electric vehicles.
  • Tax saving: If you have an electric car and it is in the name of your office, you can save up to 40 percent tax by showing the falling price in the first year, while petrol cars will save only 15 percent.
  • Electric cars have no voice: If you drive an electric car, you also reduce noise pollution. As they are quitter than petrol and diesel vehicles because of no combustion process in its working. It may seem what little noise can do but once you start noticing the difference you will realize things are different when change occurs in big numbers.
  • Safe future: We all wish that our children remain healthy and have a beautiful environment. So you can reduce carbon dioxide by 16,000 kg through an electric car. This is equivalent to planting 1600 saplings. The world will be a little better off with these vehicles

There are many other benefits of switching to electric vehicles. Times are changing we need to adapt according to that. Plus the government is also providing many added benefits with them. India is a country of 1.3 billion people and even if one percent of our population switches to electric vehicles many scenarios will witness drastic changes. Things will be a little challenging at the start but with time it will get better. The Revolution of vehicles is on its way and electric cars will lead it all the way.
