Following Traffic Rules
Education News | Mar-17-2021
I am not here to tell you all the rules. I am one among you all who just don't like to follow traffic rules or who gets irritated by it. Though all of us who drive know the importance of it and why these rules are made. First, we need to understand that though it is irritating to follow such rules these rules are for our safety and security.
It may waste your few seconds waiting for traffic lights to get green from red, but this will protect you from getting hit by other vehicles around you.
It may make you feel uneasy while wearing a seat belt but it will too protect you if you, unfortunately, meet an accident, nothing can be predicted in this case, so getting prepared beforehand will save your life and not the traffic police because of whom you wear it.
Following a speed limit sometimes make it difficult to reach the destination on time but this will protect you from accidents because though you trust your driving skills but you never know how others drive and speeding up the vehicle will restrict your sense of control over the handle.
And drink and drive may become unavoidable sometimes, for example, you are at a party, having a drink and you get a call for some urgent work in your office. In such situations, again it becomes frustrating to follow the "no drink and drive" rule but this rule will protect you from accidents.
So in short, understand that these rules are made because your life is precious. Don't ignore them, it will do no good to you, you may not feel the importance of these rules but keep in mind, you will not get a second chance to understand the importance of them, once broken, you never know what will be the consequences of it. Drive safe!
