
People with Migraines Have Vitamin Deficiency

The researchers are doubtful about whether supplementation would assist prevent migraines. A research was conducted by Suzanne Hagler, MD, a Headache Medicine fellow in the division of Neurology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. According to the scientists, children, adults and teens with migraines have small insufficiency in vitamin D, riboflavin and coenzyme Q10.
As per the evaluation, there can be certain possibilities of migraine patients having the similar deficiency. However, the observation has unauthentic bases on existing studies. The scientists have also analysed if supplementation can help prevent migraines in patients. Moreover, people with mild deficiency can likely benefit from supplementation. Dr Hagler and colleagues at Cincinnati Children's have done a study among patients at the Cincinnati Children's Headache Center. During the study people suffering from a migraine were provided migraine medications and vitamin supplementation, to prevent the low level of this disease. As per the scientists, doses of vitamins without any other medication restrict its effectiveness to prevent migraine in patients.
