This time Indian Premier League 2020 started on 15th April 2020. After the prime minister of India, Mr Narendra Modi announced the pandemic situation and guidelines for Indians to handle, guided that IPL will also suffer and could postpone to April. This time Indian premier league Twenty20, hosted by the United Arab Emirates, where 8 - teams participated for the matches.
From when used to choosing sponsors, IPL gives a lot of coordination to business organisations and BCCI. As we all knew covid-19 was throwing a wave on the world, Chennai Super Kings team was also tested positive for the coronavirus. This news gave a little heartbreak to the fans of Chennai Super Kings and its players. To come to these types of crisis 'BCCI' announced some revised guidelines and safety protocols for testing all the players throughout the IPL season. The steps were taken by the board to ensure each player is under safety control protocol and scheduled to take health safety measures personally.
During the period, more than 20,000 coronavirus tests happened during the IPL season where BCCI spend ₹ 10 - crores on it. With the inclusion of the smart ring device, Mumbai Indians decided to help players fight against coronavirus that attracts the health conditions and symptoms of covid-19 among players. But the whole season was progressive and under full safety control which resulted in an extravaganza to join in.
Let us talk about some highlights of IPL. The advance - qualifiers of IPL 2020 was 'Mumbai Indians' and 'Delhi Capitals' teams. Here Delhi capital was defeated by Mumbai Indians by 5 - wickets during the final match. But the question also arises that who won the Orange Cap during the IPL? A team player of Kings 11 Punjab K. L. Rahul received the orange cap of IPL 2020. His total match score was 14 where he played 14 - innings and achieved the score of 670 runs on an average of 55.83. Delhi capitals team also has seen to achieve the Purple Cap of the match because of the remarkable efforts of Kagiso Rabada.
