ABOUT US

School of Life (SoL) Foundation was launched in 2014 as an initiative of TSE Foundation to work towards awareness and education around sexual safety and comprehensive sexuality education programs for children.

In December 2015, the School of Life Foundation was registered as a separate trust under Indian Trust Act 1882, covering under its ambit critical issues on child protection & welfare, gender sensitization and safety for women especially at the workplace....

Ongoing Projects

This is an ongoing project supported by the education department, Haryana state. The project mandates the SoL team to train 120 PGTs inHaryana on prevention of child sexual abuse and applicable legislations on child protection.
In the last year, Sol has been actively engaged in working with and offering counselling and other support to children and women and their families.
Numerous trainings has been conducted on various subjects like CSA, POCSO, POSH, MH, resilience, substance and drug abuse, cyber bullying, psychometric analysis of teachers, Gender Equality, IC etc. It's an ongoing activity.
Team members of SoL are members to many ICs in past and currently. They are an active third-party member and involved in every functions of the concerned ICs. They stand with vast experience of addressing simple to complex sexual harassment issues, trainings IC members and supporting in documentation and annual reports.
SoL has successfully conducted radio series on “Gurgaon ki Awaz” community radio to provide appropriate knowledge about child sexual abuse and POCSO by creating live dialogues with concerned authorities like Police, CWC, WCD, Lawyer etc. It was a series of 6 sessions, of one hour each.
SoL has successfully completed a project to create awarness Among adolescent girls of the government schools of Gurgaon regarding menstruation and best possible practices. The project was implemented with support from WCD department Gurgaon. It targeted approximately 2400 girls in 30 schools across Gurgaon block.
