An Exhilarating Journey to Take the First Step in the Field of Journalism!

All the interested students are required to register themselves by submitting a registration form for Journalism Student Scholarship Program given on the main page. The application of the student moves to the editorial department of FairGaze only after parent’s approval, which a parent can approve by accepting the child’s participation replying to email they receive from FairGaze. On meeting the eligibility criteria of Scholarship Program, the editorial team of FairGaze will enroll the student to participate in this program. Once selected, student will be assigned the title of 'Reporter' at FairGaze. With their consistent endeavours and dedication guided by peers and editorial team at FairGaze, the students will be on their path to assimilate skills and can grow to be a Senior Student Journalist at FairGaze.

The model through which a student will engage with various peers from different regions of India is shown below. The efforts of a student will be assessed by their respective immediate senior as per the model for 6 months and on satisfactory editorial evaluation and peer review of the expectations, theymay be eligible to be graded to senior level.

All the levels are described below. Kindly go through them carefully before enrolling.

Reporter

You will be supported by FairGaze to groom your journalistic skills of writing, editing, researching, reporting, camera handling, captioning, etc. without any fees or charges. You will also get the opportunity to publish your article, interview personalities and host events.

Responsibilities as a Reporter:

You will be reporting to Senior Reporter which will be indicated in your dashboard and through the email. As a Reporter at FairGaze, you are expected to:

• Write an article once a week, which will be reviewed by Senior Reporter and FairGaze editorial team.
• Promote your published articles on Facebook, Instagram and other social media handles.
• Increase engagements (likes, comments, shares) on your published article.
• Guiding and advising other students on being a Reporter.

Perks for a Reporter:

You will be awarded with the FairGaze's Student Scholarship Certificate of Excellence in the field of journalism on the satisfactory assessment by Senior Reporter and FairGaze editorial team.

Your efforts will be assessed by Senior Reporter for 6 months and on satisfactory evaluation of the expectations from you as a Reporter, you may be eligible to be graded as Senior Reporter.

Sr. Reporter

You will be supported by FairGaze to groom your journalistic skills of writing, editing, researching, reporting, camera handling, captioning, etc. without any fees or charges. You will also get the opportunity to publish your article, interview personalities and host events.

Responsibilities as a Sr. Reporter:

You will be reporting to Student Journalist which will be indicated in your dashboard and through the email. As a Sr. reporter at FairGaze, you are expected to:

• Interview student, parent, principal or teacher, which will be guided and reviewed by Student Journalist and FairGaze editorial team. A maximum of two interviews per month are expected which can be in video or text format.
• Lead and guide up to three reporters who may be assigned to you.
• Guiding and advising other students on being a Senior Reporter.

Perks for a Sr. Reporter:

You will be awarded with the FairGaze's Student Scholarship Certificate of Excellence in the field of journalism on the satisfactory assessment by Student Journalist and FairGaze editorial team.

Your efforts will be assessed by Student Journalist for 6 months and on satisfactory editorial evaluation and peer review of the expectations from you as a Sr. Reporter, you may be eligible to be graded as Student Journalist.

Student Journalist

You will be supported by FairGaze to groom your journalistic skills of writing, editing, researching, reporting, camera handling, captioning, etc. without any fees or charges. You will also get the opportunity to publish your article, interview personalities and host events.

Responsibilities as a Student Journalist:

You will be reporting to Sr. Student Journalist which will be indicated in your dashboard and through the email. As a Student Journalist at FairGaze, you are expected to:

• Co host webinars/seminars/events (Well Being, Creative Thinking and Future Life Skills) and a chance to share space with your favourite experts, which will be reviewed by Sr. Student Journalist and FairGaze editorial team.A maximum of two co-hosting opportunities will be given per month.
• Ensuring large participation (Min 50) in your co-hosted webinars/events.
• Guide and lead five Sr. Reporters assigned to you.

Perks for a Student Journalist:

You will be awarded with the FairGaze’s Student Scholarship Certificate of Excellence in the field of journalism on the satisfactory assessment by Sr. Student Journalist and FairGaze editorial team. You will be provided with a Student Journalist authentic badge. You will be given discounted passes to participate in FairGaze’s paid webinars and Proprietary events.

Your efforts will be assessed by Sr. Student Journalist for 6 months and on satisfactory editorial evaluation and peer review of the expectations from you as a Student Journalist, you may be eligible to be graded as Sr. Student Journalist.

Sr. Student Journalist

You will be supported by FairGaze to groom your journalistic skills of writing, editing, researching, reporting, camera handling, captioning, etc. without any fees or charges. You will also get the opportunity to publish your article, interview personalities and host events.

Responsibilities as a Sr. Student Journalist:

You will be reporting to FairGaze's Editorial team which will be indicated in your dashboard and through the email. As a Sr. Student Journalist at FairGaze, you are expected to:

• Co-host Coffee with Counsellors, participate in MUNs without any charge and a chance to share space with your favourite experts, which will be reviewed FairGaze's editorial team. A maximum of one co-hosting opportunity will be given per month.
• Ensuring large participation (Min 50) in your co-hosted webinars/events.
• Help students understand MUN and guide them to be delegates the MUNs being conducted.
• Guide and lead upto six Student Journalists assigned to you.

Perks for a Sr. Student Journalist:

You will be awarded with the FairGaze's Student Scholarship Certificate of Excellence in the field of journalism on the satisfactory assessment by FairGaze's editorial team. You will be provided with a Sr. Student Journalist authentic badge. You will be given discounted passes to participate in FairGaze's paid webinars, Proprietary events and Model United Nations. You will be provided with an opportunity to work closely with FairGaze’s journalists and interview guests and personalities.

Your efforts will be assessed by FairGaze’s editorial team for 6 months and on satisfactory evaluation of the expectations from you as a Sr. Student Journalist, you may be eligible to enjoy the benefits from our Sponsors too.
