For centuries, people ranging from schoolchildren to world-renowned artists have painted bamboo stalks. It is one of the most common plants in Asia and has numerous applications. It also has a simple beauty to it that makes it appealing in the artwork. Images of bamboo blossoms, bamboo blowing in the wind, and other natural elements are always lovely and relaxing to look at.
