Calligraphy

Calligraphy is artistry. It is the design and execution of lettering with a pen, ink brush, or other writing instruments. A contemporary calligraphic practice can be defined as the art of giving form to signs in an expressive, harmonious, and skilful manner.

All can write but calligraphy requires a ton of practice, dedication and an artistic mindset. It requires devotion every single day to achieve perfection. But the problem is with the increased popularity of this, people who get attracted to it by seeing it on any platform directly jump on trying to make their creations which is not the right way to start learning any art.

Learning the basics of the art is like the foundation of a building, it needs to be built with patience, enthusiasm and focus. So, start with the basics which are called the “strokes” in calligraphy terms, all the letters are made up of them. Practising them over and over again will help you to make the foundation of your calligraphy strong.
