About this webinar
Humanity At The Crossroads Of Climate Action
The single greatest threat to humanity is universally understood to be climate change. While climate change is one of the numerous elements influencing decision-making at the local level, there is a significant disparity between the dangers from climate change assessed by global models and how the risks are perceived by individuals there. The very foundation of modern human civilisation is fossil fuel. Try to picture a world without the substance; we are addicted to it.
How is the climate crisis affecting us? What are the challenges for India? What are the reasons for hope that we will win this race to avoid catastrophic warming of the planet? What can we do to contribute? Let us brainstorm on the solutions to the greatest threat to human civilization on the planet.
Join us to know more about this with our mentor Mr. Rituraj Phukan who is a environmental writer, adventurer & naturalist based out of Assam.
