India A victoriously won in their second warm-up match against England XI at the Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai. Thanks to the superb performance of the India A bowlers!

Shahbaz Nadeem (2/41), Parvex Rasool (3/38), and Ashoke Dinda were the star bowlers for India A. Alex Hales and Jonny Bairstow were England XI’s excellent batters.

Ajinkya Rahane (91) stared the match by guiding India A to a six-wicket victory. The right-hander scored 91 off 83 balls to take home the hosts, sparing 62 balls. He received good support from Sheldon Jackson (59) and Rishabh Pant (59).

Suresh Raina also played good, scoring 45 runs off 34 balls. During his innings, this left-hander stroked 7 fours. England XI’s bowlers had a hard time to make inroads in the batting line-up of India A. England XI, despite their great start off, got restricted to a 282-run total.

Ashok Dinda, Shahbaz Nadeem and Pradeep Sangwan bagged two wickets each to hamper their opponent’s further progress. This delightful performance by India A team is sure to delight Virat Kohli and Anil Kumble, especially with the staring show presented by Rahane.
