  2. Swimming improves cardiovascular health: There is a direct connection between maximum oxygen capacity of the body and cardiovascular health. As the former increases, the lungs and heart becomes stronger. This leads to major improvement in heart health.
  3. Swimming aids in mental health: Swimming helps in connecting with the community and relieves symptoms of anxiety, depression etc. There is a visible improvement in mood and outlook of people who swim.
