Google Drive Hits 1 Billion Users

Google being the most operated search engine has added one more platform to its portfolio with 1 billion users. The cloud service by Google which is known as Google Drive has finally received its 1 billion users and has finally joined the elite team of Gmail, Chrome, Maps, YouTube, Android and Play Store. Google announced in their Google Cloud Next conference which took place in San Francisco that they will reach this milestone in no time and finally the news has arrived.

Google remains confidential about their cloud service as in 2017 at the Google I/O conference it was announced that Google Drive has more than 2 trillion files and almost 800 billion active users. In 2018, they did not released any numbers and kept it secretive in order to woo the audience and the crowd at Google Cloud Next. Google has launched various featured in Google Drive in past 12 months. Team Drives and Drive File Stream is designed for firms and organizations. They also have the feature of Drive-centric backup and synchronizing tool for al the Windows and Mac users. Google Drive was launched in 2012 and has amazed everyone with its 1 billion users hit in just six years which is a huge accomplishment for any non-commercial application.
