Academy of Excellence Launched

India is decorated with its doubles player Jwala Gutta who has officially done launching as the Jwala Gutta Academy of Excellence in an amazing and glittering ceremony here on this recent Tuesday.

The state-of-the-art complex which will enable some training facilities for an array of sports that include cricket, badminton and swimming too, is basically based in the city of Hyderabad and by next month it will be operational.

Jwala while having her father, Kranti Gutta alongside her said that India is one of the biggest countries and they only have Saina and Sindhu with them, so they don’t believe that they need more players. Also with the Jwala Gutta Academy of Excellence, she will be striving to inculcate in the discipline into those who are willing to learn and work and towards making them good and contributing members of our society.

The Jwala Gutta Academy of Excellence is built on a large area of 55 acre land and comprises of 14 courts and also a seating capacity of more than 600 people. It is also located in the outskirts of Hyderabad at Sujatha High School built in Gachibowli.

Other facility that comes with it is a world-class gym and an amazing yoga centre that provides athletes with a one-stop solution for all necessities.
Jwala has said that she approached the Sports Ministry for their support too.
She said in a report that she approached the Sports Ministry and met Mr Kiren Rijiju there. He welcomed her idea and she hopes that she will get support from the government.

Hyderabad already has boosted, the Pullela Gopichand academy, which emerged as one of the epicentre of Indian badminton over the past years.

She further said that they have not taken support from any other person till now and she did it on her own. She also added that they need more academies, so that more healthy competitions and medals come.
