CBSE Makes Board Exams Easy for Students

The Board exams for class 10th and class 12th in the coming year 2019 will be easier than ever before. This is because CBSE has realised the stress and pressure that the students are undergoing. Resultantly the CBSE Board has introduced a major change in the pattern of the class 10th and class 12th question papers.
As per reports, this time the question paper will consist of more number of optional questions. Earlier, the question paper consisted of only long answers as the optional questions. As per the new change, there shall be choices provided in both short and long answer type questions. This kind of choice has never been provided in the board examinations question papers for class 10th and 12th. This shall indeed make the board exams easier for the appearing students. For the board exams of the year 2019 there are a total of 55 subjects which include the optional subjects. There are around 40 subjects of class 12th and 15 subjects of class 10th. In total there are 11 questions as optional in the entire question paper. Students will get a choice this time for choosing the questions they want to attempt in the question paper. In order to make the entire process easy for the students the CBSE board has come up with sample papers and model test papers. Also, CBSE has released the marking scheme for both class 10th and 12th exams. The students can now check the new pattern of the question paper on the official website of CBSE which is cbse.nic.in. Based on the response and the feedback received from the students of previous years, the CBSE has come up with this particular change. Students use to face a lot of difficulty in answering all the short answer type questions. In order to make the board exams easy for the students CBSE has introduced this pattern change. From the coming year 2019, students will get a lot of choice in the question paper like never before. This decision has definitely brought a big smile on the faces of the students who shall appear for the 2019 board examinations. It has indeed increased the chances for students to pass the exams. The board exams will definitely no longer remain to be that scary as they always used to be for students. As far as the passing criteria is concerned the students will have to score a total of 33% including the theory and practical paper. No separate assessment shall be required for passing the exam. CBSE has announced that the 2019 board exams will commence most probably from February 19, 2019. The complete schedule for the board examinations for class 10th and 12th is not yet released by the CBSE. As per speculations, CBSE will release the complete schedule for the board exams by the fourth week of December 2018. From the year 2019, the examinations for vocational subjects will be conducted in the beginning itself in the month of February. After these are conducted, the core subject examinations will be taken up in the month of March. It is hoped that the students will take less of pressure and stress for the board exams this year and will come out with flying colours.
