Duties of a Student
Editorials News | Oct-20-2020
Students are the future citizens of the nation who have the ultimate responsibility of developing the nation. Therefore, the role of a student should be played with utmost discipline and sincerity.
The most important duty of a student is to study. The study, study, study as much as you can because that is all you have to do right now. Nothing else matters except for you to study. It is really important to stay updated with the classes in order to maintain the track. Students are being taught by experienced teachers who are giving their precious time to us. So, in order to pay them back the price, we should study rigorously. Never disrespect or disobey any of your teachers because they are your Gurus. We should always turn on time for the classes because time and tide wait for none. In order to stay ahead of everyone, planning is essentially important. Always study the content beforehand and write down your doubts so that the next day you can clarify your doubt with the teacher. It is equally important to complete all the assignments and homework on time to get good grades and to stay updated. Doing homework on regular basis helps us retain the knowledge for a longer time and of course, practice makes a man perfect. A student should practice manners and be at its best. In order to gain knowledge, it is necessary to respect it. Never disrespect what you study or with what you study. Because if you don’t respect study, the study won’t respect you either. A student should never restrain from expanding their knowledge. Always teach good things to others and be happy to share your knowledge because the old people say, “gyan baatne se badhta hai”. It’s a prime duty of a student to maintain a balance between his social life and his studies. We often find people around us who are so engrossed in doing other activities that lack behind with their studies.
Never procrastinate! Procrastination is the biggest enemy of oneself. Always do your work on time because you don’t know what’s waiting for you in the future. Always utilize your free time. Be productive! Make the most of the time that you have. Never quit from anything! Keep trying till the time you are satisfied inside. Be honest to yourself while grading yourself.
