Story of a Famous Fashion Designer- Manish Malhotra

Whenever we talk about the latest fashion trends and the most talked designs, the first name that strikes our minds is the famous fashion designer Manish Malhotra. His work has been always praised and a notable number of new designers follow him as an idol. The very initial stage of his career he started as a model but failed and thereafter he joined a fashion school, it cost him 11 years of experience and expertise to convert it into a label that we typically known as ‘MANISH MALHOTRA’ style.

Born in the year 1965, he from the starting knew that he wanted to work in and for Bollywood and later he came out to be a fashion designer and soon dominated the Bollywood's fashion world. As since childhood he was weak at the academics but had appreciable drawing skills. Soon after his talent was recognized, he got enrolled in a drawing class, the result of that can be seen now. He did a lot of hard work to get the same and success. He had been a good struggler, he struggled with his studies in college; struggling in designing of costumes for movies. When he was 25 he designed clothes for Juhi Chawla for the film Swarg and since then moment he hasn’t looked back. Soon he became the first fashion designer in the industry who was requested to read the script of the movie first and then design to the outfits. But even after immense success and fame, he tends to be a grounded and humble person especially with his team, he is always appreciated for his nature alongwith his work irrespective of wherever he goes. The main stone of success started after his work in the movie Rangeela that for him came out to be a golden moment and after that his work begins getting recognition in the industry. The awards he got are uncountable.  He not only designed for Bollywood film actors and actresses but once for the famous Michael Jackson when he made his maiden visit to India in a concert along with several Hollywood’s Biggie's. Out of his all achievements, he considered his first Filmfare Award as the most delighted achievement and the second being the inauguration of the 9,000 square feet flagship store in Delhi. His bridal dresses are famous around the country and handles a very good collection of wedding dresses.
