The Power of Dance

To set yourself free, Relax, and calm, the key is Dancing. Dancing like any other physical activity produces Serotonin, the chemical that regulates in our body changes our mood and is often responsible for Happiness. Dance is the fastest truth, not some big truth related to everybody but some personal kind, what’s – happening- in- my-mind kind of Truth. We dance to reclaim our space without a critic or a judge or an analyst. We dance to fall in love with the spirit in all things, to wipe out bad memories.
One of the most basic motives of dance is Expression and communication of emotion. In dance connection between the two concepts is stronger than in some other arts. The dance requires a pattern of muscular exertion and relaxation as well as intense and sustained energy. Nowadays Dance is also used as therapy for cognitive and neurological disorders.

The dance takes a wide variety of forms, from simple spontaneous activity to formalized art or from a socialized dance party. Dance also play important role in all cultures more specifically in celebration, Courtship, entertainment, and recreation. The importance of dance in social gatherings and courtship is older than its use in recreation and entertainment. In all different forms of dance, movements become dance through formal choreography and stylization.

What can you do to support your own brain?

  • Always try new forms of dance to increase your movement repertoire. This can boost neuroplasticity and increase your cognitive reserve.
  • Participate in activities that can change your brain movement, its benefits Focus, attention, and creativity. Find ways to engage in social gatherings.

So, if you want to level up your happiness, just boogie down. Bust a Move. Do the Twist. Shake it like a Polaroid picture. Vogue. Dance in the dark. Dance in the streets. Embrace your inner dancing queen. And don’t stop ‘til you get enough.
