One of the most common tennis injuries is muscle strain. It happens when an isolated huge-energy appears during the muscle contraction. Also, at the same time body weight applies huge amount of pressure to lengthened muscle resulting one to experience muscle strain. When a muscle strain results in redness, pain and swelling then inflammation and bleeding are also triggered.
All levels of tennis players are also into overuse which may damage their muscle, cartilage, nerves, bursae, ligaments and tendons. The other types of injuries are Lateral epicondylitis, Shoulder injury, back injury and blisters. Lateral epicondylitis is an overuse injury which is also known as tennis elbow. It frequently occurs in tennis and is categorized as tendon injury occurring in the forearm muscle called the extensor carpic radialis brevis (ECRB). Shoulder injury is caused when shoulder is in repetitive use while serving and striking the ball.
Almost 85 % of tennis players have experienced back injury throughout their career. Blisters are patch kind of injury that appears on the skin. Blisters are filled with a clear fluid and sometimes even with blood.
