Dynamics of India-Bangladesh Relations

India and Bangladesh have a dynamic and complicated relationship that is shaped by economic interests, geopolitical considerations, and historical ties. The underpinning of their strategic relations traces back to the 1971 Bangladesh Freedom War when India assumed an essential part in supporting Bangladesh's autonomy.

Throughout the long term, the two countries have explored a range of issues, figuring out some shared interests in regions like exchange, security, and social trade. As a result of enhanced connectivity and trade agreements, economic cooperation has emerged as a key driver. The new introduction of the Maitri Setu, associating Tripura in India with Chittagong in Bangladesh, embodies their obligation to improve local availability.

To come up with a fair and mutually beneficial solution, the two nations continue their dialogue.
