Learn About INTJ Personality

We meet thousands of people every day. Be it physically or digitally. But, we don't vibe with everyone we meet sometimes, due to the difference in personality. We end up putting personality based on our experience and perspective into two huge boxes- 'good' or 'bad'. Sounds a bit mundane doesn't it? So, two Americans, Katherine Cook Briggs and her daughter Isabel Briggs Myers constructed Myers-Briggs Type Indicator(MBTI) based on Carl Jung's theory. They divided personalities into not one, not two but 16 types. INTJ stands for Introverted, Intuitive, Thinking, and Judging. INTJs are rare as they make up about 1 to 4% of the total population. They are self-confident and hardworking individuals who look at the big picture and like to focus on abstract information rather than concrete details.

Though INTJs dislike talking about emotions they are good at listening. So, they might be the best person to listen to you ranting about why you think Maggie shouldn't be eaten with sauce(Sorry sauce plus maggie enthusiasts, had to do this). If it wasn't any more obvious, INTJs are introverts and so, tend to spend a lot of time alone. They are thinkers and therefore are more practical. INTJs are perfectionists and have high expectations and are intuitive. Some of the famous INTJs are C.S Lewis and Gandalf from The Lord of the Rings. It is said that INTJs are more likely to choose a career path in science, maths, medicine, or law but this isn't considered valid. The human brain is extremely complex, so we can't define their personality or nature. A lot of scientists have argued that the MBTI test lacks both "validity and reliability". In the end, no one can describe a person's personality. In the end, the image that we form of other people's personalities depends on our personality.
