The continually recurring issue focus together with the stress on certain topics that media agencies put their attention to, determines what the society regards as critical and urgent at the moment. For example, climate change can remain in the spotlight for extended periods, and having it featured in important media discourses can increase its priority on the political agenda and boost the decision-making process as well as awareness of the public.

Consequently, the overflow of social platforms made media a tool of democracy and gave the ability to the communities can set their narratives, which can overturn the conventional ideas on social issues.

Implications for Social Change:
Demonstrating a primary function of mass media in creating public opinion on social dilemmas has a pivotal significance for such dilemmas' solutions.
