Degree Vs Skills
Editorials News | Dec-26-2019
Degree and skills both are the two sides of the same coin. We are often confused between both of these. For succeeding in the race of life, a person will need to possess a degree along with certain skills. A degree which is without the skill would be as vacant as the skill without any degree. Both of the things need to go hand-in-hand in order to become the survival of the fittest.
Degree is of no matter but all the certified documentation of the skills is within the individual. Every person possessing the skill may not be able to manage for attaining the degree. Similarly, each and every degree holder is not importantly skilled. The requirement of the degree or skill also depends upon the organization, the nature of post and many others. On a general outlook, which of the criterion carries more weightage – the degree or the skill?
Degree is an authenticate certificate that proves that the person applying for the post is having the knowledge and also makes a person more and more confident in his approach and outlook. Degree has the ability of earning money and status for its owner. The more specialised is the degree, the higher will be the post and status and the higher will be the salary package.
Every degree holder is not importantly being skilled. It is the skill which helps it to achieve the target and not the degree. Skill is an abstract term which is unable to be evaluated on the bits of paper. It is a broader spectrum, one can get a job on ass of degree but for moving ahead and for sustaining the work skill is very essential.
