Horns are pyramidal summits formed when many cirques erode a mountain summit from various angles, whereas arêtes are sharp, knife-like ridges that form between neighboring cirques.

3. U-shaped Valleys:
Glaciers deepen and enlarge already-existing valleys that have a V shape, creating valleys that are broad, steep-sided, and flat on the bottom.

4. Hanging Valleys:
These are minor tributary valleys that connect to the main U-shaped valley but come to an elevation where they end, producing waterfalls or cascades.

5. Fjords:
Following the retreat of the glaciers, fjords are long, deep valleys that are drowned by rising sea levels.

6. Transportation and Deposition:
Massive quantities of silt and debris are transported by glaciers as they travel. These substances are deposited when the ice melts, creating different landforms.

7. Moraines:
These are ridges or mounds of unsorted silt that have been left behind by glaciers along their sides, in the center, or at their termini.

8. Drumlins:
Made of glacial till, drumlins are long hills or streamlined mounds. They frequently line up with the glacier movement.
Eskers are lengthy, curving ridges of sand and gravel that meltwater streams within or beneath glaciers have left behind. Outwash Plains: At a glacier's terminal, meltwater streams deposit large, flat regions of sand, gravel, and silt known as outwash plains.
