We all have heard his name, he is regarded as best dancer in the world, yes you are close its Michael Joseph Jackson. Born on August 29, 1958 and rocked it till June 25, 2009, he was an American singer, dancer, and also a songwriter. He is also dubbed and regarded as the "King of Pop".
On June 25, 2009, music world ceased spinning when news broke about the death of legendary Michael Jackson. Jackson's exceptional place in music history was rapidly solidified as billions of fans around the world shed tears over the loss. The GRAMMY Museum situated in Los Angeles subsequently jumped into action with the revealing of the special exhibit, Michel Jackson who was a Musical Legacy that served as a follow-up to the Michael Jackson: HIStyle display that opened in February of that year.
Furthermore on the 52nd Annual GRAMMY Awards in 2010, the GRAMMY winners Smokey Robinson, Carrie Underwood, Celine Dion, Usher and Jennifer Hudson coordinated for an all-star 3-D rendition of the "Earth Song" contributed for giving tribute to Jackson, who was also honoured in the same year posthumously with a Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award.
Jackson ranks No. 7 on the RIAA's list of top-selling artists of all time with more than 75 million albums sold in the United States.
