Factors That Make Football an Interesting and Entertaining Game

Football is also known as a soccer game. It is a team sport played with a spherical ball called the football between 2 teams, each having 11 players. It is the national sport of France. This game originates from China in 476 BC. There, the sport was called Cuju that pronounced as Tsoo-Joo. The word translated into English is Kick Ball. The game is called Soccer by only Americans and Canadians. The football players run an average of 9.65 kilometres. And do you know the first match of basketball, was played from a football? As there are 11 players in football, 1 of them is a goalkeeper, the remaining ten fill various defensive, midfield and attacking position depending on the formation that is deployed by the team. They also defend and help the goalkeeper. Side by side, they try to score by making a goal. And, when the game gets over, the team which scores more wins the game. Some of the rules of football are :
- The goalkeeper can hold the ball only for 6 seconds.
- Ones, the keeper has released the ball, he can't pick it up again until any other player has touched it.
- The goal kick has to leave the 18-yard box to be in play if the keeper's goal kick does not leave the 18-yard box, then the ball is retaken.
- If a team kicks the ball then the ball goes out of the pitch, the match restarts with the goalkeeper of the opposing team.
- The goalkeeper can not come outside of their goal circle anytime, so on.
In football, the yellow and red cards are used to discipline players for general misconduct and misbehave during the game. A yellow card is showed to warn a player to behave after an antagonistic or a non-conscious violent act, and there is no instant punishment. Two yellow cards form a red card. A red card is showed after a yellow card to each team. A player who gets a red card is instantly sent off the field and is forbidden to play for the remaining match. That's given a delay starting from the next game. And this takes the team in a risky position where only 10 players are on the pitch, at last, giving the opposite side the advantage.
