General News | Jul-18-2022
Everybody wants energy and the energy drink business is a one billion-a-year business it started with Red Bull, Rockstar, monster, stacker, full throttle, etc. The energy portion of this comes from caffeine and they have anywhere from 80 milligrams almost 200 milligrams of caffeine. Among the frantic excitement and thrilling moments of any sports match. There is a sports pause or break that gets dehydrated players rehydrated and refreshed to go once more on their respected sports field and play their sport. Now the question arises as that why do sports person consume sports drink or energy drinks during commercial breaks or drinks breaks when the game is paused?
For any sporting action to be completed muscle movement is inevitable. This movement of muscles is activated through electrical impulses which travel from the brain to muscle using the information-carrying pathway called the neuron. The impulse and muscle moment both depend on body minerals or electrolytes, mainly sodium, potassium, and calcium present in the form of charged particles or ions. The moment of sodium and potassium ions in and out of the neuron produced an impulse. And as this impulse reaches the muscles, calcium ions flood the muscle fibers, contracting them and completing the physical activity. These electrolytes in the body are lost by sweating leading to reduce performance and cramping. And that's why taking a break to consume water as well as sports drink or energy drink that is rich in electrolytes is crucial. Ensuring the sports person is replenished, refreshed, and ready for action. All those sports drinks and energy drinks are manufactured for sportspeople for their benefit.
