People claim that today's cartoons are more violent than cartoons at a young age. On the contrary, a new generation said that jokes were wrong for children. Also, a review of cartoon lessons and language views in early years, conducted by Robin Close on behalf of the National Literacy Trust, shows that for children aged two to five, high television can have a positive effect on awareness and comprehension, vocabulary, language, audio details, and voice information. Storytelling (Close, 2004). Therefore, cartoons can be educational and entertaining. However, many people believe that modern cartoons are incredibly violent, create an illusion, and block children's communication skills. First, while watching cartoons, children's minds process many of the most dangerous things.
1. Cartoons also teach many life lessons
Kids are watching many cartoon genres like Tom and Jerry, SpongeBob, Mickey Mouse, and others. Many parents today have acknowledged that every child has a sense of humor. The child should only watch educational cartoons, but most cartoons hurt children. These days, however, children are becoming addicted to comics, and, as a result, there is much debate as to whether children are affected by the jokes or not.
2. Cartoons help children learn the value of friendship
Cartoons can also teach children the value of friendship. In many jokes, characters are often portrayed as being in a relationship. As a result, children can learn that friends are essential and that they will treat others better. For example, the cartoon "Peppa Pig" shows that you need to accept other people differently and make friends.
3. Cartoons encourage thinking
When children watch different cartoons, they can think of different themes and hear other cartoon stories. Jokes use a variety of bright colors and shapes for children to make them better remembered. In most cartoons, there are no real characters. To make an example, Poli, from the cartoon Poli, is not a real character because he is a car that can talk. Symbols allow creators to represent what they want in children easily, and children understand the lessons clearly.
4. Cartoons can help in enhancing knowledge of words and vocabulary
Cartoons use new and easy words that children may not have heard, and when children listen to jokes, they can quickly learn and know how to express their feelings in better terms. Also, some cartoons can teach people who do not use English as their first language to learn English quickly.
5. Cartoons can help children learn school-related things
In many cartoons, they teach educational matters. For example, "Curious George" is an excellent educational cartoon. It teaches children colors, shapes, and realities of life. Children should watch educational cartoons because they help children learn things faster. After all, children are more interested in learning than they are in education. Also, the cartoon shows that if you do wrong, you can be punished, telling the children that you should only do what is correct, not to be punished.
