PLASTIC TERROR!
In India, other than pollution and overpopulation, plastic is also a major issue. If we see everywhere we can see plastics in our surroundings. Plastic is quite good and durable. However, they are harming our environment. Plastic is also a major part of pollution which can be seen as evidence everywhere.
Plastics are good and can be used on a long term basis. However what about the plastics which are made for single-use. These plastics are known as single-use plastics which cause a problem to the environment. Plastic is not decomposable and whenever it is burnt it releases harmful fumes which is bad for the environment. Things packed in plastic wrappers are also not safe for us as whenever they are heated in those plastic packed things they get harmful for consumption. Plastics are thrown here and there and are eaten by stray animals. They get stuck in their throats and they die a painful death.
Though Plastics have a lot of benefits, still, they have certain disadvantages. And these disadvantages are harmful to us. It's quite difficult to ban plastics permanently however it's not impossible. If the usage of plastics per person is reduced then it might work and make it work we can start with small steps which will have great significance in our present life and our future. We must adopt the reuse of plastics ideas and try to remove even single-use plastics and if possible plastics should also be banned as it is certain that it has more demerits than merits.
