Social Media Is Making Us Anti-social

With the assistance of technology, we are ready to share things with people around the world within the blink of an eye fixed. You'll prefer to tweet 140 characters at a time, write a post that appears on friends’ news feed or share a photograph with a filter thrown on top. We never stop to think anything of it because we spend an honest amount of our time every day on sites like Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, and Facebook. But can we stop to think about what we might be doing if we weren't on social media or how it affects how we interact with one another ‘in real life’?

Today, it seems everyone including young kids have some kind of social network account like Facebook, Twitter, or YouTube. In fact, I’m sure that a lot of users on YouTube who claims to be 50+ are really just 11-year-olds trying to pass the age restriction. To not mention they're more likely to click those ads promising $1,000,000 if you click now. However, a majority of oldsters don't disapprove of their children employing a social network, albeit the location has a regulation. As our lives become more evolved around technology, it's hard to shut it out even for each day. The younger generation gradually replaces real-world experience with the comfortable chair ahead of the pc. More and more teenagers would rather spend a couple of hours online, instead of going out and experiencing the important world. A study by ‘Knowthenet’ found that quite half of the children had used a social media site before the age of 10 with Facebook being the foremost popular.
