Sports Increases Concentration Power
General News | Oct-21-2020
Most people consider sports as time pass, a business, a hobby etc, But there are very few of them who think of it as a tool that helps to increase concentration.
Sports play a very important role in acting as a stress buster and stress is a major factor that affects concentration. It is observed that children who are part of extracurricular activities such as sports, singing, dancing, painting etc tend to have less stress compared to those kids who keep studying all the time. In fact, even just talking with another person or just having fun acts as a great stress buster.
If a child is preparing for the board, to top exams such as IIT, NIIT, PRMO, NEET etc it is observed that parents and other adults tell the child do keep studying and nothing else and that can be very harmful to the child mental health.
Sports is something that takes care of the mental as well as physical health of an individual, wheatear it e a small child, a teenage kid, a young adult or a middle-aged person. The mental and physical health of an individual is of utmost importance.
Also, a person who is a health and not just disease-free is the person who tends to get better grades, higher pay, fast promotions and a loving, caring and very happy life.
So, in the end, I would like to quote Derek Jete. There may be people that have more talent than you, but there's no excuse for anyone to work harder than you do!
