The Importance of Education for Women
General News | Dec-26-2023
India is among the most populous nations when it comes to demography. Nonetheless, the nation has a relatively low percentage of educated girls. seeing the numbers in a nation where women are treated like goddesses is quite unsetting. There is still a long way to go, even though the numbers have somewhat improved.
In an indent India, women were not even allowed to leave their homes, but times were changing. People's perspectives are evolving in tandem with changing times. Their goal is for their daughters to excel in school and life. In Rural India, where over 60% of the population lives, this is not the case. we must determine the causes of these low rates of female education To provide some remedies.
Girls, in our nation, are unable to receive an education due to several circumstances. To start with, the poverty rate & concerns. Even though education is free, sending females to school still costs a lot of money. As a result, families with financial difficulties cannot cover their kid's tuition. second, there aren't many schools in remote areas. They are situated distant from the village, which poses a distance issue. Students may have to walk up to four hours to get to school in some places. Here's where the security of parents don’t think it's appropriate to send their daughters off so far because they get compromised.
Furthermore, it is more difficult for girls to pursue an education due to the regressive mindset of society. There are still those who believe that girls should stay at home and take care of the kitchen other than domestic duties, they dislike women taking on any other mind of work.
Social problems like child work and marriage prevent the girl from completing her education. Daughters are pulled out of school by their parents so they can marry off young. Girls who work as children miss out on time for their studies. therefore, a woman must get a proper education.
