Delhi to Get More Forest Cover

In an initiative promoted by Delhi Government the green cover of the city will be increased by 5% in the next five years. The State Government has planned to expand city forests by 42 in number.

While addressing school children, the minister appealed that everyone should plant at least one tree and should nurture it like a family member. About 1500 tree saplings were planted on the event and two Eco Huts were also inaugurated.
