Jeff Bezos – The Incredible CEO Of Amazon

On September 13, 2018, Jess Bezos, the founder and CEO of Amazon declared that he is going to give 2 billion dollar in order to start a fund. This fund shall aid in opening up of new pre-schools and helping the no profits in order to render help to the poor and the needy. Jeffrey Preston Bezos is an American technology entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist. He is best known as the founder, chairman, and CEO of Amazon. Bezos was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico and raised in Houston, Texas. His net worth is around 16, 230 crores USD. His stake in Amazon is of worth Rs. 160 billion dollars. Jeff posted on Twitter also regarding his intent to donate. He wrote that the amount that he has desired to donate shall go to two different funds. These are:

(i) the first part of the fund shall go to those nonprofit organizations that help young homeless families in providing them food and shelter;

(ii) the second part of it would be used in opening pre-schools that shall benefit low income communities.

These pre-schools shall be based on the teaching philosophy of Maria Montessori, which usually focusses on play based learning. Bezos had founded Amazon as an online bookstore about 2 decades before. As amazon grew, Bezos grew equally. Bezos has drawn inspiration to help the poor and the needy from his parents Bezos Family Foundation. Besides all, Bezos' wealth has also allowed him to pay for side ventures, including starting space exploration company Blue Origin and buying The Washington Post newspaper.
