Recording and Animating of Dreams Will Change Future

34th Annual Conference of the International Association was conducted in Anaheim, California. The conference was on the Study of Dreams. Inspiring researchers and clinicians who have worked on the field of dreams witnessed this conference.
Daniel Oldis who is a lucid dreaming author and Social Dreaming Advisor at DreamsCloud presented his project on “Animating Dreams and Future Dream Recording”. This project aimed to establish a way for capturing and simulating motor behavior in dreams. The presentation on this project consist a demonstration of an iPad avatar animation. It was created out from real data of a sleeping participant. They also thought that their set up will reflect the movements of the participant’s dreaming body.
A lot of research on dream subject was able to establish that body movements in dreams are connected with real signals in the muscles of the sleeping body. The signals are those that appear in the same muscles that are involved in the dream behavior.
