To tackle body shaming, we need to take a multi-pronged approach that includes education, awareness-raising, and individual action.
One way to deal with body shame is through education. Children should learn from an early age the importance of respecting others and appreciating diversity. Schools and parents can play a key role in teaching children about body positivity and the harmful effects of body shaming. Education should also emphasize the negative impact of social media and the importance of using it responsibly.
