How To Make Online Classes Interesting?
Education News | Sep-12-2021
Online classes have been a downfall of many. This had Teachers scratching their heads and students staring at the screen confused. The daily schedule of continuous online classes was draining for both the students and the teachers. during school hours students used to mingle with other peers and play on the grounds to lighten the bearing pressure of studies. Whereas in online classes none of that is available, making it extremely boring.
To make online classes less stressful breaks were allotted alongside classes of shorter duration but that does not make it any less boring. To make online classes interesting fun activities like numerical games or bran games can be incorporated for the junior students. Senior students can be called up for debates and challenged for chess or sudoku. Regular sessions of teacher-to-student counseling can also be helpful to motivate students to perform well.
Some tips that can be applied are-
1. Students can be taught via 3D cartoons and animations to make learning more colorful and playful.
2. Just like in normal school virtual schools can also host costume parties can students can describe their parties.
3. Virtual hobby groups can be formed in which students of the same interest can meet and discuss their likes.
4. Informative webinars can be shared with the students hosted by professionals.
5. Students may be encouraged towards vocational subjects to create hobbies.
Breaks after every 3 classes can be a huge relief to senior students so they can relax and have peace of mind instead of running around trying to absorb information like a sponge. Overall there is always something to better in all situations and growth is never-ending.
