One glance at a day in my life and anybody can see that Murphy's Law, "Anything that can turn out badly, will turn out badly" is obvious. I show the precision of this law consistently. Take a gander at today, for instance. Toward the beginning of today, I got up to find that my caution hasn't gone off.

At that point, I put my exposed foot down into a wet spot on the rug, where the new doggy had doodled. Then, I found that I was out of hair splash. To top everything, my blow dryer kicked the bucket. I knew without even a second's pause that I shouldn't take off from the house. My mother wouldn't accept that I was debilitated and made me go to class in any case. Attempting to persuade her allowed for breakfast. I was late for my first period, which got me "that look" from Mr. Adams and made everybody gaze. I left my schoolwork on the table by my bed.
