The Role of United Nations Organization
Education News | Jan-09-2021
UNO stands for United Nations Organisation. it's the planet body that came into existence on United Nations Day, 1945 at the top of the Second war. Obviously, it had been formed to save lots of the planet from the catastrophe of another war. The UNO is successfully doing its work and is trying to take care of international peace and security by developing friendly relations among nations.
The UNO has six organs to hold out its business. However, the Security Council is its most vital organ. America, Russia, England, France, and China are the five permanent members of the safety Council. They enjoy the proper veto, which suggests that the safety Council cannot take any without the unanimous consent of those five members. If
Any of those members disagrees; the choice can't be taken as valid. during this council, there are ten temporary members besides its six organs, of the UNO, there are a variety of specialized Agencies of this organization a number of them are the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) the planet Health Organisation (WHO), the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF), the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), etc. These agencies are charged with specific responsibilities within the fields of health, education, science, trade, culture, human rights, etc.
The UNO has done valuable addition to the political field. During its sixty years of existence, it's successfully maintained peace either by avoiding war or by preventing its (War’s) outbreak on different occasions. It prevented the Korean War from turning into a war. It also checked a war that may have taken place between England and Egypt on the difficulty of the Suez Canal. Thus it's only due to the UNO that no Third World War has been broken thus far.
