Cleanliness Is Next To Godliness

I thought it was just a way of convincing small children and our surroundings that how much it is important to stay clean. In the Bible, there are some translations like body washed with clean water and these translated differently. There is also another translation let's keep our hearts pure and our consciousness free from evil. Along with the pure heart and clear conscious we should keep our body clean. It is to be noted that even a dog before sitting at a place always cleans it with its tail.

When someone never washes his body, the odor becomes offensive to everyone. And when your heart is not clean, the spirit becomes offensive to God. Cleanliness is not only to keep ourselves clean but also to keep our surroundings decontaminated. The drainage and sewage system should remain clean.

Cleanliness is a sign of spiritual purity and goodness. If someone says cleanliness is next to godliness, they are referring to the fact they have a moral duty to keep their home and themselves clean. It is not a forceful act but we should do it. It should be the first and foremost responsibility for everyone.
The elders should act as role models for the young generation. They should take the initiative for the cleanliness of their society. So that small children could learn some valuable things. At higher levels for the locality or cities, municipalities should be pressed to get the streets swept and drains cleaned on a regular basis. The government is also taking steps to comfort the citizens so that they can move on neat and clean roads. It is the greatest virtue.
This is not only our duty but it's our routine which we should follow with happiness.
