How Machines Influence Climate Change?

The invention of machines led to breathtaking changes in the modern world and enhanced the economy of richer countries. The invention of machines led to the starting of the industrial revolution. This industrial revolution led to an increase in the production of goods and this increased industrial work increased the wages of the factory workers. As the income levels of the workers rose, they began investing in various new technologies and even other industries and companies. This led to a huge improvement in the transportation system because of which people began to move from one place to another in search of jobs, to escape exploitation and for various purposes. But as we know there are two faces of a coin and just like that, the invention of machines also led to a variety of disadvantages. Now let us look at some of the disadvantages of the invention of machines.

With the invention of coal-based machines, the smoke emitted by these machines led to the rise in the pollution level of the world. Till now the smoke emitted by machines plays a vital role in contributing to the increasing levels of pollution all around the world. The noxious fumes emitted by the machines cause air pollution because of which pulmonary diseases have grown enormously in recent years. This noxious fume also lead to an increase in the number of the sulphur dioxide and nitric oxide in the air which are the main constituents of the acid rain which affects not only the climate but also the health of all the living beings. This also leads to the formation of air cover over the urban areas. One of the major examples of this is the Bhopal gas tragedy. Now, let us look at the ways in which we can prevent this flow of noxious fumes.

This should be made compulsory that all the industries use fabric air filters so as to prevent the emission of harmful gases in the air. It should be made compulsory that each and every industry uses scrubbers, Cyclones, Electrostatic precipitators, Mist collectors, Incinerators, Catalytic reactors, and Biofilters.
