A Day Before The Examination
General News | Sep-10-2021
The examination period is considered to be the most stressful period for students as well as parents. Parents are afraid of their child's results and put pressure on them and sometimes because of that pressure students get under stress which affects their studies. A certain amount of pressure is important to motivate them and to make sure that they are connected with their regular study patterns.
The whole year students try their best to cover their syllabus with full concentration but many students put up with a lot of pressure, a day before examination because of which they get lesser marks than their expectation. A day before the examination what students should do is 'a go through revision'. In this they don't need to revise the whole chapter or concept, they just need to revise the main points. The second thing they need to do is 'enjoy their hobby'. Yes hobby makes our mind forget all the worries for some time so that when they get back to their work they can do it with more concentration and less hesitation, for example, many people find cooking or washing dishes relaxing, some people take doodling or painting as their hobby or someone's hobby can be exercising or yoga or some simply prefer sleeping.
What parents should do for their children is help them in their revision, talking to them about their preparation, and making sure that they are not taking so much stress. Parents should support their children in their ups as well as in their downs. On the day before the exam parents should prepare their favorite meal and tell them that they should do their best and not worry about marks. Parents should tell their children that marks don't define the person. And most importantly drinking milk with five almonds on the day of examination is compulsory as this drink helps you with better performance and boost your concentration level.
