Concept of Anthropology in Political Organizations

Anthropology is the study of various aspects of a human within past and present societies related to human behavior and also related to understanding both cultural and biological conditions of humans. The study of Anthropology is broadly divided into four subdivisions separate from each other which include: "Socio-cultural, Biological, Linguistic Anthropology" and last "Archaeology". 'Socio-cultural Anthropology' is the study of values and culture of society and it primarily deals with aspects including political, economical, and ideological factors of human cultures. So, in this article, we are going to discuss "The Concept of Anthropology in Political Organisations".

Political organizations are formed to maintain the orderly system of social relations that people have to be subjected to some degree of compulsion. "Political Anthropology" is a subfield of 'Social Anthropology'. The Anthropologist "Elman Service" in 1962 divided the Political Organisations into 4 organs that are: "Band, Tribe, Chiefdom, and State". While talking about political organization, we mean that there are some rules and regulations made in society so that the society works properly and maintains its system accordingly. Hence, the 'Anthropologist' uses this field to observe whether the men follow the rules and regulations made by Organisations and how men follow the rules to maintain the system of the society. All these aspects are covered in "Political Anthropology".

The core of 'Political Anthropology' is focused on the historical and legislature-related setting. The roots of Political Anthropology are derived from the 19th Century. Two of the great Anthropologist: 'Lewis H. Morgan' and 'Sir Henry Maine' focused their work on the evolution of primitive societies to modern societies. This formed the base of Political Anthropology and the key to understanding the working of political organizations. Some major aspects being covered in it are: 'before colonisation', 'after colonisation', 'migration', 'partition', 'multiculturalism', and even 'globalisation'.

Hence, it is not wrong to say that "Political Anthropology" has made our Political organizations work more easily and thus make the system more stable.
