Fastest Bowler In The World



Each and every fast bowler of the world, in cricket, try to bowl as fast as he can and place his hand and his photo in the book of cricket records. There is a person named Shoaib Akhtar, who has bowled the fastest ball in the history of cricket. Former Pakistani right arm very Fast Bowler Shoaib Akhtar represented the Pakistan National Team in all forms of the cricket game. He set an official world record by achieving the fastest delivery of 161.3 km/h (100.2 mph) against England in the 2003 ICC World Cup. He is also the first bowler to cross the 100 mph mark twice in his career. He is also known as the 'Rawalpindi Express'. He took 178 test wickets and 247 wickets in ODIs in his active career between 1997 and 2011. Besides international appearances in the cricket world, Shoaib also played for IPL club KKR and NCl T20 Bangladesh Franchise Cyclones of Chittagong.

Imagine a bowler running in those extra yards all the way from the boundary, with fire in his eyes and coming at you at a speed of nearly 100 miles. Forget about facing him, only the thoughts of it would bring shivers down your spine. Such was the impact of this super quick speedster called 'Shoaib Akhtar' on the psyche of eminent batsmen across the world. You know, many legends of the previous generation in Cricket have been at its receiving end. Be it, Brian Lara, be it, Sachin Tendulkar, be it Ricky Ponting or be it, Sourav Ganguly. You name him and Shoaib had given that batsman a taste of his medicine. He was full of raw pace, lethal bouncers, and nightmares. There was hardly anyone who got away with it.
