Hard Work Vs. Smart Work

“The Combination of Hard work and Smart work is Efficient work”.
- Robert Half

The effort is important, however, knowing where to make an effort makes all the difference!
In today's era both smart work and hard work go hand in hand but at the same time, it is important to know where to use what. Hard work means putting a lot of effort and doing a certain amount of work whereas Smart work means doing the same task but in less time. Smart work aims for quality and hard work aims more for quantity. Working towards success needs a lot of planning before execution. With the help of both hard work and smart work, we can achieve the desired goal but what makes a difference is the amount of time taken to achieve that desired goal, so it is very important for a person to mold the nature of his/her work according to the need of an hour. People who work hard sometimes feels that they won’t be able to achieve their goal whereas Smart worker achieves their goal through time management as a key to success. Working hard or working smart is not exclusive to each other. Smart work teaches you to be more productive and efficient in your work. Like if you are happy in your current position than you only have to work smart and will allow the luxury though if you want more from your life, want to achieve a higher level of position, want to reach the pinnacle of success than definitely you need to work hard as well.

People need to stop thinking about “Hard Work” or “Smart Work” they should concentrate on doing their best in every perspective without thinking about the reward. Thinking about rewards and claps and results sap your energy and will give the feeling of “neediness” you will not even enjoy your work. Working without enjoying it makes it boring and will not let you stay in the field.
So be it college, job, or even personal life we should learn how to work under deadlines, under less time with fewer resources and at the same time achieving the goal without any flaws. Apply your smart work and hard work in the right place at the right time. Always improve and Innovate i.e. what is need for an hour. You need to work smart as well as work hard, both will go Together.
