In 1951, the All Britain Ladies' Hockey Affiliation (AEWHA) organized the first of its 41 London Internationals to be played at the old Wembley Arena. The program for the day gladly reported that this was whenever that a ladies' group's first game had been played at the well-known Realm Arena. The possible hole in this astounding record was in 1970 when the state of Wembley's contribution came about the match being moved at short notification to The White City Arena.

AEWHA was known for the dauntless ladies at its rudder, and the foundation of this yearly game at the home of football exhibits their premonition, certainty, and verve. With the co-activity of English Rail lines, the Executive of Wembley Arena, and the help of the Ladies' Hockey Field magazine, the AEWHA had the option to offer an adequate number of passes to make the main game feasible, and for sure surpassed the objective by recording a participation of 30,000. In 1976, the participation figures rose to a record 68,000. Investigation into the set of experiences and the more private accounts of ladies' hockey at Wembley is one of the activities being embraced by THM. Material from Shower College Library, where the AEWHA chronicles are under the watchful eye of the Annalist, Lizzie Richmond, has been utilized alongside the individual records of Mary Russell Vick, Phyl Allison, Anne Merritt, Katie Dodd, Pat Ward, and numerous others.
