How Space Weather Affects Earth The global technological and natural systems that are influenced by space weather include the Sun, which is a natural solar phenomenon. Solar flares, coronal mass ejections (CMEs), and geomagnetic storms are phenomena originating from the dynamic behavior of the Sun, which periodically discharges unexpected energy and/or charged particles into space. Despite the fact that many of these events are probably going unnoticed by human beings, they can have a significant impact on our home planet. 

Satellite technology is probably one of the largest that has been affected by the cloud. High-energy particles can degrade the satellite equipment and upset GPS reception and world communications. Even power grids here on Earth are susceptible; geomagnetically induced currents are created, which overload transformers, such that electrical blackouts result. According to the idea, space weather is known to have several concerns to both aviation and space exploration. 

They bring high-energy particles that enhance radiation effects on astronauts and travellers on polar altitude flights. Thirdly, such occurrences are capable of changing the Earth's ionosphere and hence impact radio signals. On a more obvious level, space weather results in spectacular events such as auroras which brighten Polar skies into various colours. Understanding and predicting it is very important in order to guard against its impacts. 

Solar observation satellites and early warning systems are some ways that investment can be put to work to prevent loss to infrastructure and safeguard societies that have become so dependent on technology. The relationship between the Sun and the Earth is still an interesting area locally and globally.
