UAE Affirm Offer to Have Indian Premier League 2020

The Emirates Cricket Board has affirmed that it had communicated enthusiasm for facilitating the Indian Premier League (IPL) this year if India chooses to move the money rich T20 competition out of the nation taking into account the COVID-19 pandemic.

Usmani said the Emirates Cricket Board had, actually, offered their settings to England and Wales Cricket Board to finish the English season here too.
They had come forward and offered our venues to both England and India. They had also hosted matches involving the England team on multiple occasions previously. If their offer was taken up by either of the Boards, then they will be pleased to facilitate the hosting of their matches, he said.
Sri Lanka Cricket is the other Board which has communicated enthusiasm to have the IPL if India chooses to hold the competition abroad.
A more clear picture of the window for IPL may rise if the ICC takes a choice on the destiny of the current year's T20 World Cup during its executive gathering through video meeting on June 10.
