General News | Jul-12-2021
There are times in everyone's life when you feel demotivated, demoralized, and feel like giving up. When you come across the same feeling, remind yourself that you haven't come all the way long just to give up. There are some things you can do when you feel like giving up.
Ask yourself 'why'
Why do you want to give up? Why do you want to quit? What is the reason behind you feeling like giving up? Is it because of stress? Are you tired of following the same routine again and again? Is it your anxiety that is forcing you to give up?
The reason you started doing this
We all know that we do everything for a reason. So what was the reason that you first started doing this? Was it because you enjoy doing those things, or was it for something else? Is that reason not important to you anymore? Keep reminding yourself that you still want to achieve what you always wanted to whenever you feel like giving up.
Take a break
When you are exhausted, learn to rest, not quit. Don't forget it's okay to take a break when you need one. Rest for a while and then come back, stronger than before.
Connect with someone
When you tell about your feelings to someone close, it will help you to feel much lighter. Try to get closer to your family or try talking to a friend. It will give your mood a fresh restart and will improve your willpower. Maybe then you will remove the thought of giving up from your mind.
Journal
Journaling is the best way to relax your mind. It helps in improving creativity, reduces stress, and improves your mood. When you get all thoughts and feelings out of your head and down on paper, the world then seems more apparent. And you don't always need to write down in your journal if you don't want to; you can also draw and paint.
Meditate
Meditations help you both mentally and physically. It allows for deeper self-reflection and can help discover a positive attitude about you. Next time you feel like giving up, start meditating. It also makes you less likely to ruminate on anxious thoughts that can fuel depression.
Look forward
Remind yourself that when you started doing this, you want to achieve something. Be sure that if you give up now, you won't be able to reach the goal. Focus on the outcome while you keep enjoying your journey to your aim. Start your every day with an objective so that you can go to bed with satisfaction while you cross every task on your to-do list.
Whenever you feel like giving up, try doing out the things stated here as they may help you get out the negative thought of giving up from your head.
