CBSE 2019 Exam: The Board Used A Mobile Application To Prevent Paper Leaks

The Central Board of Secondary Education took technology this year to prevent any malpractice during the exam or the evaluation process of the class 10 and 12 exams.

After several paper leak reports surfaced last year, among which it was confirmed that class 12 economics and class 10 math were engaged, the board has used technology this year to ensure better safety.

This year, too, many videos that claim that CBSE class 10 and class 12 question documents were leaked were viral on social media. The board had filed FIR against channels claiming to have original question papers from Class 12 accounting, chemistry, English and class 10 science and math documents, but no truth was found in the claims of YouTube channels.

Follow-up and monitoring of confidential material (CMTM) application used by CBSE:

CBSE launched a mobile application called the Confidential Material Tracking and Tracking Application (CMTM) that sent geotagged and time-tagged photos of the exam day processes to the center's supervisors, board executives and other interested people. According to the reports, the application was used at the time of the collection, opening and sealing of the question documents to avoid mishandling.

The CBSE paper evaluation system:

It has also adopted the analysis of trends of evaluation of the TETRA theory, a system that facilitates the monitoring of the evaluation in real time and also allows the analysis of trends and the visualization of scoring patterns by students in different regions, cities and in different sets.

Teacher training conducted by CBSE on evaluation and exams:

The board has training for teachers in more than 100 cities for evaluation and testing. A webcast was organized in 21,000 schools, 4 lakh teachers and the director participated in the teacher training program. The podcast platform of the board, Shiksha Vani ', will train teachers in the evaluation process.

Physical security:

The directors of the examination centers were declared as center superintendents and were held responsible for the security of the confidential materials. Observers were deployed in examination centers.

This year, more than 31 lakh candidates showed up for both CBSE board exams; of which 18.5 lakh appeared for the class 10 and 12.5 lakh exams appeared for the class 12 boards and will apply for admission to the universities. This year, the result of the class 10 and class 12 exams is expected to be announced soon.
