Pokémon Go is a free-to-play, location-based augmented reality game. It has been developed by Niantic for iOS and Android devices. The game was the result of a collaboration between Niantic and Nintendo, by way of The Pokémon Company.
It was initially released in selected countries in July 2016. The game utilizes the player's mobile device's GPS ability to locate, capture, battle and train virtual creatures, called Pokémon, which appear on the screen as if they were at the same real-world location as the player. Recently, Niantic has announced the departure of Kyogre from Pokemon Go in late February. It is speculated that a new Pokemon will be uploaded soon. Deoxysis, a Psychic-type mythical Pokémon introduced in Generation III came into existence when the DNA of a space virus underwent a sudden mutation upon exposure to a laser beam. The crystalline organ on this Pokémon's chest appears to be its brain. Deoxys, in particular, may be employed as a raid boss. Although there is no confirmation about this information being authentic, Niantic is yet to make an official announcement in this regard. Also, Niantic has announced to roll out fresh Ex Raids from February onwards. As a result, the users around the globe shall have the chance to catch Mewtwo. Further, Niantic has introduced new clothing items for various avatars. This includes new Fisherman costumes, new Battle Girl outfits and Jogger gear.
